JBS has a degree in Human Geography from the University of Iceland and holds an MA degree in Economic Geography from the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, specializing in international industrial locations.  1994-1999 he worked as a Chief Economic Consultant for the Reykjanes - Keflavik region in Iceland. He was responsible for initiating projects and new companies as well as working with entrepreneurs in the field of new business ventures. Simultaneously he taught courses in economic geography at the University of Iceland.

JBS has been the General Manager of Icelandic New Energy since its establishment in 1999.

Maria has BSc in Biology and Geology, University of Iceland, plus B.Ed in Didactics from the University of Iceland. Research master courses in Marine Ecology and aquaculture at the Universtiy of Gothenburg;  and MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from the International Institute of Industrial Environmental Economics, Lunds University, Sweden. Main field of work: Maria coordinates the research and data processing, Editor of information material from INE, and specializes in the non- technical sides of introducing hydrogen as an energy carrier such as socio –economic and environmental research. Maria is a recommended lecturer.

Elizabeth Unger (Beth) completed her Master's thesis in February 2009 investigating the potential environmental and economic implications of producing biofuels in Iceland earning a degree in Environmental Science and Nautural Resource Management.  Her undergraduate degree is in economics and also worked at the Army Corps of Engineers during and after undergraduate school.  Elizabeth was born in the USA and has been living in Iceland since 2004.
